# Integrations

ResolveAI integrates with your existing stack to query logs, metrics, traces, dashboards, code, infrastructure changes and more. This data powers every alert investigation and helps Resolve understand what’s happening in your systems.

## Why Connect Observability Tools?

By connecting tools you already rely on, Resolve can:

* Automatically investigate alerts using relevant metrics, logs, and dashboards
* Generate working theories with supporting evidence
* Surface related anomalies and change events
* Reduce the time engineers spend switching between tools

Resolve only needs **read-only access** to ingest this data. Setup typically involves providing an API token, data source URL, and a list of environments or dashboards to include.

## Environment Matching

<Warning>
  **Important**: Data from integrations is grouped by environment. The environment name (ex. production, staging, us-west) must match across your Satellite and observability tools. If environment names don’t match, Resolve won’t be able to link alerts, logs, and dashboards during investigations.
